- 1 Can of Squash and Onions (you’ll find it with the canned veggies)
- 1 packet of Lipton Cream of Chicken Cup-O-Soup mix
- 1 block of Ramen noodles
Note from the RamenMaster: An interesting, yet simple recipe. Worth trying out, although personally I would substitute real squash and real onions, after sauteing for about 10 minutes in olive oil.
Pour the can of squash and onions, with packing water, into a medium size corning ware dish or glass bowl. Mash the squash and onions with a fork until the mixture is fairly thin. Heat this dish in the microwave until hot through and through. (Approximately 3-4 minutes depending on wattage of microwave.) In a separate bowl, mix the ramen noodles with Lipton Cream of chicken soup mix. Break the noodle block apart so that the pieces are rather small. Add enough water to cover the noodles and soup mix completely. Heat in the microwave until noodles are tender and soup mix has made a thick, creamy coating on noodles. (Approximately 3-4 minutes). In the larger bowl, add the ramen mix to the squash and onions, add a little more water if needed and stir well. Reheat the entire mixture for another 2-3 minutes, stir and enjoy!
