Like….Food, man sends us this way to eat ramen that uses your feet. He writes in from Sac-Town:

OK i used to do this all the time before school. You will need one pack of ramen including the flavor packet. Do not open the ramen. Take off your shoes and with the ball of your feet crunch all the noodles for about 2 minuts straight until you can feel that they are all little peices. If done right the ramen pack shouldnt have any holes and shouldn’t leak. Open the pack and take the flavor thingy out and sprinkle it around. Close the hole in pack of ramen with your fist and shake it up for about a minute.

Now you can take ramen by the handful…. sweet sweet ramen!

  1. What is the point of using your feet? is it just sheer primate laziness, or is there a point to it? I’m not criticizing it, I just want to know.

  2. Well, that defeats the purpose of having bbusho, bbusho ramen. Basically a snack for kids in Korea. The directions for those and these are basically the same. Except… you don’t really have to use your feet. And it’s VERY unhealthy to eat the soup powder raw (They add things to the powder to make sure it doesn’t spoil, too much is bad for you). Which is why the package of this ramen has a special flavoring powder made just for flavoring (Which also comes in different flavors, BBQ, chicken, etc).

It comes with a yellow package and it shows a little cartoon kid on the front with the ramen pieces in his mouth. Easily found, really, but it’s Korean.

You take the package, take a strip of the plastic off in one side, take the flavoring and our it all over the ramen noodles. Then you crunch it all up, shaking it as well. But you close the package which is why you only took one side off. Then you open it up and enjoy.

  3. This is such a Sacramento “recipe”.
