- Ramen (oriental preferred)
- Garlic Clove
- Green Onion
- Lemon Garlic Seasoning
- Optional: Tbsp Veg. Oil
- Optiona: Tuna
Add a liberal amount of Lemon/Garlic seasoning to the water while it is heating up before it starts to boil. When the water is at a rolling boil, add ramen brick and vegetable oil if desired. The oil gives the broth a heavier taste so that it just doesn’t taste like flavored water. Let cook for the usual 8 min. or so, until tender. After about 6 min. into cooking add chopped pieces of raw garlic and green onion. I used the slice section of a cheese grader, which cuts up perfect shoots that add great taste and texture.
Note: The lemon garlic seasoning will settle at the bottom of the bowl when you eat it, so I suggest that you take the broth and strain it into a bowl or something, then discard the excess seasoning that is not on the noodles. I was lazy and didn’t do this the first time, and the extra seasoning on the bottom of the bowl was very strong.
After the mix is cooked and the ramen is nice and soft. Turn off heat and add the flavor packet and tuna(if desired). Mix well and serve. The taste is excellent. I’m a poor college student and was pleasenty suprised. Try it!
